Boarding Policies
At The Retreat at Creekside, our goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable stay for every guest. To help us provide consistent care and keep our facility running smoothly, the following policies apply:
- All guests must meet our current vaccination and health requirements. Pets unable to receive a required vaccine for medical reasons will need documentation from their veterinarian.
- Current vaccination and medical records must be provided before your pet’s stay. If your pet is not a patient of Creekside Animal Clinic, please ask your veterinarian to provide us with a copy of their records.
- New clients must complete our required boarding forms and provide current contact and emergency contact information.
- Please let us know in advance if your pet has any medical, mobility, behavioral, feeding, or other special needs so we can discuss appropriate accommodations.
- If the accommodations reserved for your pet are no longer appropriate based on their needs or behavior, we may move them to a more suitable accommodation. Any difference in boarding fees will be the responsibility of the pet owner.
- All boarding and additional service fees are due at check-out.
- If a pet is not picked up as scheduled and we are unable to reach the owner or emergency contact, additional boarding charges will apply. Extended stays without communication may be handled in accordance with applicable laws and local animal welfare requirements.
- Pet owners must provide authorization regarding emergency veterinary care. If medical care becomes necessary during your pet’s stay, we will make reasonable efforts to contact you or your designated emergency contact.
Cancellations and Missed Reservations
We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or change your pet’s reservation, please contact us as soon as possible so we can make the accommodations available to another guest.
We currently do not charge a cancellation or no-show fee. Repeated missed reservations or late cancellations may require a non-refundable deposit for future reservations. The deposit will be applied toward your pet’s scheduled stay.
Major Holiday Policies
Our major holidays include:
- New Year’s Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving
- Christmas Day
The Retreat is closed to client arrivals and departures on major holidays. Pets staying with us over a holiday will continue to receive their regular care from our boarding team.
Due to increased demand during major holidays, a reservation deposit may be required to secure your pet’s accommodations. Any required deposit and applicable cancellation terms will be communicated when the reservation is made.

Dogs

Please provide this documentation prior to your pet’s stay.
